Founded in 2013, GreenIT emerged at a time when Ireland lacked access to professional IT asset disposition (ITAD) services. With 35+ years in the IT industry, including two decades in recycling and reuse, its founder spotted a clear gap and filled it - evolving GreenIT into Ireland’s leading B2B, B2C, and public-sector provider of remanufactured and end-to-end IT lifecycle solutions.
Today, GreenIT is the only reseller of remanufactured technology to the Irish government, with a reputation built on quality, security, and service excellence. The company offers complete lifecycle management, from deployment and support to take-back, repair, and redeployment - ensuring every device enjoys multiple lifecycles. Customers benefit from OEM-level warranties of up to five years, personalised service contracts, robust reporting, and certified data-destruction through trusted partners such as AIKEN.
Now operating from a fully refurbished facility in Kildare that opened in September 2025, as well as facilities in Slovenia and the United Kingdom, GreenIT combines security, accessibility, and transparency across all operations. Its showroom allows consumers to experience secondary products first-hand, while in-house repair and refurbishment lines maximise value for corporate clients. The business holds ISO27001, ISO9001, and ISO14001 certifications and is a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, underscoring its commitment to quality and compliance.
Looking ahead, GreenIT plans to double its headcount while doubling down on grading consistency, automation, and education, including establishing an ITAD Education Centre to help consumers and businesses better understand circular technology. Through supply chain professionalisation and unwavering standards, GreenIT is dedicated to redefining perceptions of the secondary IT market and setting the benchmark for circularity in Europe.
