Here’s what’s inside:

✅ Circular Showcase: 5 niche marketplaces driving circular adoption
✅ Circular Calendar: January’s key global events
✅ Circular Careers: Hand-picked roles accepting applications

Let’s get stuck in.

Circular Showcase

As we prepare for the launch of the Circular Connect Directory, we’ve been deep in the data - curating and uploading hundreds of circular businesses from around the world.

In the process, one trend stood out: a new wave of niched-down marketplaces that are absolutely owning recommerce within their specific product categories.

Here are five you should know about:

Cling Systems
🔗 https://www.clingsystems.com/
📍 Stockholm, Sweden
Cling Systems operates a B2B marketplace for end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, connecting sellers and buyers to accelerate battery circularity. Its platform enables scalable trade of spent EV and energy storage batteries, helping repurposers, recyclers and OEMs unlock residual value and streamline reverse logistics.

Collector Square
🔗 https://www.collectorsquare.com/en/
📍 Paris, France
Collector Square is a European resale marketplace specialising in pre-owned luxury items, including bags, watches, jewellery and art. With expert curation, authentication and a showroom in Paris, it enables buyers and sellers to participate in the circular luxury economy through consignment sales and direct purchases.

Eslando
🔗 https://www.eslando.com/
📍 London, United Kingdom
Eslando provides a dedicated marketplace for recyclable waste textiles, linking collectors, fibre recyclers and manufacturers to trade textile feedstock efficiently. By aggregating inventory and matching supply with demand, it simplifies sourcing and resale of post-industrial textile waste to drive higher recycling rates.

Reseat
🔗 https://www.reseat.com
📍 San Jose, California, USA
Reseat is a circular marketplace and asset management platform for office furniture and commercial fit-outs. It helps organisations plan, track, sell and repurpose unwanted furniture through a centralised resale network, reducing waste, recovering value and extending product lifecycles while tracking sustainability metrics like carbon impact.

Aucto
🔗 http://www.aucto.com/
📍 San Francisco, California, USA
Aucto hosts an online marketplace for buying and selling surplus industrial equipment and materials. It connects buyers with underutilised assets from companies across sectors, transforming surplus and end-of-life items into reusable resources, reducing waste from industrial operations and enabling circular redistribution.

Circular Calendar

The Circular Calendar is now fully digital and will soon sit alongside the Circular Connect Directory and newsletter, forming an ecosystem designed to make it easier to discover opportunities, connect with the right people, and win business in circularity.

We’re not quite ready to open it up just yet, so for now here’s a snapshot of the key industry events taking place over the next two weeks. Consider this a sneak peek at how the new calendar will look, with a few final tweaks still to come:

We’re heading to New York this weekend for NRF Rev and are looking forward to connecting with hundreds of reverse logistics and circularity professionals. If you’ll also be in town and want to meet, drop David a message on LinkedIn and let’s get something lined up.
