Formula One gears up for circular adoption by measuring what matters. McLaren, Deloitte UK, and the FIA are driving circularity in motorsport with the launch of a circular handbook focused on minimising resource consumption and reducing waste. The calculation methodology will promote standardisation across teams. Read more.

Emirates takes flight towards circularity. Through an alliance with the Aviation Circularity Consortium and SL Metals, Emirates has reinforced its commitment to decarbonising the aviation supply chain whilst reducing waste. Qatar advances circularity with robust recycling processes and education. The nation is actively enhancing recycling infrastructure and practices to minimise waste and maximise resource utilisation across various sectors. There is also a programme that educates people about the importance of rationalising to reduce waste. Read more.

MediaMarktSaturn champions circularity with trade-in campaign. The campaign, fronted by Jürgen Klopp, emphasises the potential for a second life for used devices. The retailer has seen a 275% increase in sales of remanufactured products, highlighting shifting consumer habits. Read more.

Sky and Unipart double down on circularity with contract extension to 2027. Unipart, a logistics and circular services provider, has supported Sky since 2004. This extension will see them continue to offer a host of circular services to the media and entertainment company. Read more.

eBay commits $300,000 to its Circular Fashion Innovator of the Year. Refiberd leverages AI to sort textile composition at scale, enabling efficient recycling and reuse of materials. The investment will help to build a circular textiles future. Read more.

Reconomy continues US ramp with fifth acquisition. The global circular economy specialist has acquired American Outsourced Waste and Recycling (AOWR). This is Reconomy’s third US acquisition this year, and fifth in total. Impressive. Read more.

Distribution giant acquires additional circular capabilities. Exertis has acquired Group 8 in a move that bolsters its "second life" strategy by adding comprehensive Apple product support, repair, and refurbishment services. Read more.

Global ITAD M&A continues to accelerate. We’ve seen multiple ITAD deals in 2025, building upon a busy 2024. This time, computing OEM CTL has acquired ITAD specialist 3R Technology to expand its growing list of IT lifecycle services. Read more.

California’s CEAR fuels growth with cash injection. A significant equity investment has been secured by the e-scrap processor. This boost will enable CEAR to enhance its processing capabilities and increase electronics recycling capacity. Read more.

ITAD and electronics recycler S3 acquires local electronics recyclers assets. The integration is expected to be seamless, as non-profit Electronics Recycling Solutions (ERS) provided similar services to a similar portfolio of customers. Read more.
