Circular Showcase: ARLL Group
A chair with damaged packaging, garden tools left after the season or a mixed pallet of customer returns can all end up taking valuable warehouse space and tying up cash while someone works out what to do with them. The challenge isn’t necessarily the product itself; sometimes the stock is simply in the wrong market or sales channel.
That is the challenge the ARLL Group ecosystem is built to address. Through ARLL, ASAP Reverse Logistics and Re-Bloom, unwanted non-food inventory can be assessed against multiple potential routes back into commerce, combining European B2B buyer access, returns processing and direct-to-consumer resale.
A Connected Recovery Ecosystem
ARLL connects customer returns, slow movers, discontinued lines, mixed lots and bulky goods with professional B2B buyers across Europe. Rather than limiting stock to its original market, ARLL looks at where demand exists, recognising that a product moving slowly in France may find its buyer in Bulgaria.
ASAP Reverse Logistics provides the processing capability when stock requires more than simply finding another buyer. From its Romanian operation, goods can be documented, inspected and graded, with repacking or repair undertaken where the additional work can unlock greater resale potential.
Re-Bloom extends the ecosystem beyond B2B by providing a direct-to-consumer route for suitable ASAP-checked products. This creates another potential market for inventory that may not achieve its best outcome through a wholesale lot sale, allowing selected products to be offered individually to consumers.
The ecosystem can be seen in practice through its work with RMX Trading Ltd, where a portfolio of more than 29,000 units across four brands was held in Germany without an effective route into Central and Eastern European markets. Working across the Group, the portfolio was taken on consignment, localised and opened to consumers through Re-Bloom and regional marketplaces across Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary.
Circularity for Challenging Goods
Furniture, appliances, home and garden products, DIY goods, bulky items and mixed consumer stock can present a different recovery challenge. Where individual item values are lower, every additional handling, processing and transportation step needs to justify its cost.
Buyer access therefore becomes just as important as physical processing in determining whether recovery is commercially viable.
As Gina Tudosa, Founder & CEO of ARLL Group and ASAP Reverse Logistics, explains:
Circularity also has to work for the chair, the garden tool and the mixed pallet of everyday goods. Those products need a viable route back to customers. With lower-value stock, processing costs and buyer access decide whether recovery works.
Building a European Recovery Network
ARLL has worked in stock liquidation and returns since 2011, building category knowledge and relationships with professional buyers across Europe. Over that period, approximately €58 million in cumulative inventory sales has moved through ARLL Group, including 15,198 truckloads of European manufacturer and retailer-origin stock.
Building on that experience, the next stage is focused on developing recurring programmes with European retailers, brands, distributors and 3PLs, while deepening buyer coverage across categories and markets. The longer-term ambition is to build a repeatable European recovery service capable of matching each stock flow with the most viable route back into commerce.
Could Your Stock Find a Better Route to Market?
Whether it's slow-moving inventory, customer returns, discontinued lines or stock sitting outside your usual resale channels, the ARLL Group team can explore where another market, buyer or recovery route could create a better outcome.
If you have stock that isn't moving, or a client facing a similar challenge, connect with the team to explore what the next route to market could look like.
